BETA 2026 - Week 3 This Week

Conditioning

More range of movement and honest volume, building the engine that carries the whole season. Keep the reps clean and the intensity true.

We move onto the p-Bar Handstand and the L-sit to bent arm planche line. This is our first real strength week on the skill. Beginners work the L-sit to push up, advanced work the L-sit to bent arm planche.

Still a great week to jump into Squad. We are in the gentler part of the Conditioning phase, so a beginner can settle into J-Squad, the same session scaled down, and find their feet with a coach alongside.

BETA 2026 - Week 4 begins

Conditioning

We round out the Conditioning block with solid volume and movement work. Bank this base, it is what the harder phases are built on.

Second week on the p-Bar Handstand and L-sit to planche, now adding compression. Beginners build the L-sit to Frog and the transitions between them, advanced press the L-sit to Tuck planche.

Last call to start Squad for the season. J-Squad, our Junior Squad, is the most welcoming way in for beginners, same time, same program, scaled to you. Christmas in July is at Prahran on 24 July, come down.

BETA 2026 - Week 5 begins

Technical

We drop the intensity and sharpen the craft, revisiting the technical execution of the fundamental movements. Back to basics, clean form, no rushing.

We rotate onto the Lightning Bolt Handstand, with ring muscle ups and the forward roll. Strength and range come together. Beginners work a ring row or pull up into a muscle up, advanced build towards the archer muscle up.

New to L9? One of the best weeks to start. The Technical phase eases the intensity back to clean fundamentals, so you can find your feet in J-Squad while training alongside the full Squad.

BETA 2026 - Week 6 begins

Calibration

We calibrate before the Build phase: setting goals, dialling in technique and finding the right level of difficulty for each of you. Get clear on what you are chasing.

Still on the Lightning Bolt Handstand and the muscle up, this week we chase the transitions. Beginners keep working the row or pull up into the muscle up, advanced push towards the archer.

Still an easy week to walk in. Squad and J-Squad calibrate together before the Build phase, a good moment to get clear with a coach on what you want from the season.

BETA 2026 - Week 7 begins

Build

The Build phase begins. Strength and flexibility move to the front, lower volume and higher intensity as we start forging the hard skills.

New rotation: the Bunny Handstand and the Front Lever. We open with press work. Beginners drill front lever runners, skin the cat and the tuck front lever, advanced work the banded front lever press.

The Build phase starts and the intensity steps up. Beginners are still welcome, J-Squad runs the same program at the same time on a lighter track, so you work at your own level. Keen to jump straight in? You can, but be warned, Build does not hold back. Prahran Birthday is on 28 August.

BETA 2026 - Week 8 begins

Build

Build continues. We keep the volume low and the intensity high, pushing strength and mobility together.

Bunny Handstand and Front Lever continue, this week themed around rows. Beginners work ring rows and reverse deadlifts, advanced hit L-rows, straddle rows, dragon rows and front lever pull ups.

Still a fine time to start. Come ready to work and the coaches pitch it to your level, J-Squad runs right alongside Squad in the same session.

Build

Deep in the Build phase now. Strength and flexibility, quality over quantity, every rep with intent.

We rotate onto the Pike and Straddle Handstand. Balance is the focus. Beginners work the Bunny, advanced work the press to handstand.

BETA 2026 - Week 11 begins

Deload

We back right off and let the body absorb the work. Full range of movement and mobility, recover well, test week is next.

Final rotation: the Scissor Handstand, plus the pull over into elbow lever into L-sit. This week is transitions and balance. Beginners work rows and the forward roll, advanced the L-row and bent arm planche.

Ease off and recover well this week. Squad and J-Squad both deload before test week, so it is a relaxed week to come and try us out, too.

BETA 2026 - Week 12 begins

Test

Test week. 2RM and 3RM testing plus unlock testing. Get your cameras out and show what you have built this season.

Scissor Handstand and the elbow lever to L-sit line continue, now built around compression. Beginners work rows, forward rolls and compression, advanced the L-row and bent arm planche. Show it off, it is test week.

Test week, and the final week of the season for Squad and J-Squad alike. We hand out awards and nominations and capture the squad photo and video, then the whole squad, members and coaches together, sits down to design next season's program, the drills and skill rotations we will run. The Titan Challenge also runs across every location.
